If you are looking for your next travel destination look no further than Guanajuato City. This small colonial city is truly a treasure to be discovered. Located in Central Mexico, Guanajuato City used to be one of the world’s largest silver-mining cities in the world. Nowadays it is known for cobbled streets, nightly music and lively atmosphere.

Final Thoughts
Even though Guanajuato City is not the largest city in Mexico it has a ton of things to do, plenty of places to see and a seemingly endless amount of small painted streets to explore. Truly a unique destination and one of my favorite places in Mexico.
