The movers and shakers of Amazon electronics this week include a plethora of headphone choices and power strips, two things any work-from-home person needs.
Let’s get it started with the sought after (and in my opinion headphone that stands out for any iPhone user) the Apple AirPods rank #1.
With a proprietary software Apple makes sure its headphones work seamlessly in conjunction with your Apple iPhone through automatic pairing every time you pop them out of the case to stand out noise cancelation for minimal disruption. They also seamlessly play and pause audio when you interact with a conversation or pick up a call. And from my experience have some of the best microphone quality for taking calls in loud areas or capturing audio if you happen to be making the next viral TikTok video.
At less than a fourth the price of the Apple AirPods comes the TOZO Hybrid Active Noise Canceling Headphones. Currently on sale (02-17-25) these sleek looking earbuds are quite a steal compared to the competition. They boast some pretty great electronic specs and offer a quick 10 minute charge for a 2.5 hour battery life if you are in a rush.
The next electronic product on this Amazon list is an 8 pack magnetic cord organizer. This is the first that I have seen this and will be grabbing a pack of these organizers myself. I have two clunky cords that KEEP falling off my desk, multiple times, every day.
Armed with an adhesive pad you can stick these on whatever surface you want and they open and close easily with the magnet, allowing you to insert your cord or if you are taking it away for some other use it’s easy to remove.
Something I am new to using, a portable external monitor! Now that I have my first stationary desk in years, I myself have an external monitor and it is such a productivity booster. I can watch class video on the side or informational tutorials while still focusing on my main screen for whatever task I have at hand. Currently on sale (02-17-25) this light, colorful, movable monitor comes in handy for work on the go (even if that is just from room to room inside the house). Although it is not 4k – 1080P is more than enough to stream videos and work on files for a screen this size.
On this week’s Amazon product list we have a brand that I am a HUGE supporter of – Anker Electronics (they are my go-to portable power battery banks).
But here we have one of their power-strips. With a flat cord and 10 plugs this thin, compact power extension will be great for minimal space interference, does that phrasing make sense?
